Donna Stai

Donna started working at Chader Business in 1980 as a sales representative, primarily selling dictation equipment, typewriters, word processors, calculators, spirit duplicators, and mimeograph machines. In 1986, Donna purchased 60% of the corporate stock and became the President of the company.

After becoming President, Donna added a full line of copiers and facsimile machines to Chader’s line of products. Spirit duplicators and mimeograph machines were replaced by the plain paper copy machines while typewriters and word processors took a back shelf to the personal computer. Dictation equipment became all digital including digital handhelds and voice management systems. Chader saw the entry of voice recognition into the mix of products which today has become an integral part of Chader’s business.

In 1996, Donna started her own leasing company (Chader Leasing Corporation) to further enhance Chader’s leasing business. That same year, Chader’s current facility was built and the company relocated to the present Waite Park address.

When Donna is not working with her two companies, she enjoys gardening, golfing, painting, and swimming. She is the mother of two.

Gordon Hove

Gordon joined Chader Business Equipment June 1 1968 after completing a course in Office Machine Repair at Lake Area Vocational School in Watertown South Dakota. He began servicing typewriters, mechanical adding machines and mechanical calculators. As technology changed, learning and training became a constant endeavor. Along the way many classes were attended for copier, word processing and dictation repair.

Most of his efforts are now concentrated on service management, and keeping up to date on the latest technology in the field of dictation.
